GIORGI BREGADZE (PhD)
Giorgi Bregadze (Ph.D.) is a head of the Research and Planning Department of the Georgian National Tourism Administration and full professor of Caucasus University. He graduated from Tbilisi State University majoring in Business Administration. He has two master's degrees acquired from two universities International school of economics at Tbilisi State University and the Otto Von Guericke University of Magdeburg. He received Ph.D. degree from Tbilisi State University.
As a head of the research and planning department, he is responsible for the compilation and analysis of statistical data on tourism received from other stakeholders, independently conducted surveys and coordinated activities related to strategic planning.
Giorgi is a popular guest lecturer at four universities. He has 7 years of experience teaching business, economics and tourism courses at various universities in Georgia. He has several scientific works published. The spheres of his scientific activity are: economic effects of tourism, quantitative analysis of tourism, microeconomics, macroeconomics, finance.
